Purpose
The outbound client development Agent will have responsibility and aptitude for identifying, qualifying and advancing leads within a defined selection of accounts. This will be a telephone based role which will involve a variety of tasks; including customer service, sales (approximately 85% outbound and 15% inbound work) and act as an advisor. The role will be dealing with different types of clients such as media agencies, consumer, B2B, publishing companies, etc.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and effectively handle a high volume of B2B outbound calls in a metric driven Outbound Team that mirrors the function of a telemarketing environment.
- Generate hot lead customer surveys to establish future client needs.
- Convert clients to purchase online and actively promote brands to new and lapsed clients.
- Generate qualified leads on client accounts through campaign-driven outbound calling against set KPIs.
- Identify business opportunities from new registrants, inactive and potential customers.
- Provide input to Client Development Team Leads to create Subscription Deals and Preferred Pricing Agreements.
- Administrative work: Create/update client company accounts for registered individuals, providing customer data in support of the finance department, general administrative office duties.
- Actively participate in trainings and coaching sessions in order to optimize product knowledge and communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Business fluency in French AND English is a must
- Comfortable with outbound calling.
- Sales minded and customer oriented.
- Effective questioning and probing skills
- Confident, competent, business savvy with negotiating skills and ability to communicate at a senior level.
- Experience in telesales and/or inside sales
- Experience working in a target-driven environment
- Experience with media industry preferred
