French speaking Localization Coordinator
Salary: £ 21–28K

Our client a well established organization within the media and advertising industry are looking to appoint an experienced Localization Coordinator.
Essential Job Function:
• Coordinate all localization projects for ongoing web updates and email campaigns for the brand.
• Coordinate localization for all elements/tactics of integrated marketing campaigns and ensure that all tactics are sensitive to local language needs and consistent with the overall project and brand tonality.
• Develop and maintain calendar for weekly and monthly web updates.
• Oversee review process for all localized material in close cooperation with the creative team.
• Support creative team with localization of sales support material that includes localized screen shots. (etc)
• Coordinate all relevant localization tasks for the French and Italian Market. Ensure that all parts of the website are translated.
• Work close with the creative and marketing team
• Work closely with other copy writers in the team to ensure all language is on brand and sensitive to local needs.
• Communicate with local offices about preferred terminology relevant to local needs and industry standards.
• Help with creating and maintaining glossaries and style guides in language of expertise.
• Function as expert resource for target language. May include research of linguistic issues and web search behavior.
Skills, Education and Experience:
ï‚§ Excellent level of French and English. Italian is a bonus.
ï‚§ BA or BS in linguistics, translation or related field
ï‚§ Localization experience
ï‚§ Experience with industry standard localization tools, processes, and issues
ï‚§ Proficient with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, design or web production related software a plus
ï‚§ Good visual literacy and interpretation skills
ï‚§ Strong organizational and communication skills
