Media Account Manager

Basic up to 25K + OTE £45K

Our client, a leading Publishing company, is looking for an experienced advertising account manager to join an established team. This is a central role in the current team structure - the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of existing clients within regions that represent strong potential for new business development. The successful candidate will need to be capable to work alone as well as to interact with the team members.
Key responsibilities:
• Maximising advertising revenue
• Be knowledgeable of advertising markets segments and products
• Database maintenance
• Proactive attitude towards information sourcing, storage, maintenance and - when applicable - dissipation to the team members
• Frequent communication with own advertising base (both by phone and face-to-face)
• Attending conferences and meetings in UK and abroad
• Ads sales in magazines, news portals and high value custom publishing solutions.
Key Skills:
• Proven experience in Sales (ideally in advertising sales).
• Must speak English to business fluency
• Advantageous: any other language such as French, Arabic, European or Asian.
• Knowledge of the energy market, oil and gas in particular is a bonus.
• Must be enthusiastic, confident, dynamic and resilience
• Must have efficient time management and presentations skills
• Computer literate.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Tangible experiences of new product development and/or generation of new revenue streams are a clear advantage.
• Experience on working on brand extensions (awards/rankings/webinars/etc) is a strong plus.
