German Speaking Senior Accountant

Based in Germany – Frankfurt Area

€35K-€42K depending on experience + benefits

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to the Financial Controller to prepare statutory accounting and reporting, month-end and year-end closing (financial & management reporting) statements

Work with external auditors on annual audit

Prepare annual budgeting and keep track of monthly performance

Prepare Regular sales reports and forecasting 

Prepare reports on inventory, A/R & collection and product profitability, etc.

Treasury function: payment & collection, oversee bank accounts, loan facilities, reconciliation and cash flow projection

Work with Group Internal Audit to ensure proper internal controls processes are maintained in place

Provide advice to the Country Manager / Business Development Managers on pricing, invoicing, commercial terms, credit control, collection and goods return policies and processes

Prepare tax computation, filings and enquiry handling

Prepare employee payroll & government agency/regulation compliance

Candidate:

Fluent in German and English and a good command of written & spoken Chinese is highly preferred.

Experience in finance & accounting in a global consumer product corporation

Bachelor degree holder in finance & accounting, ideally with solid audit training

Experience on SAP                                 

Knowledgeable and familiarized with local accounting practices, laws, codes & regulation

Self-motivated, honest and reliable                                                                    

Good communication and presentation skills
